What this tool does
Extract readable text from a PDF and pack it into an editable Word document (.docx). When the PDF has no text layer (scanned pages), OCR can recognize characters from the page images.
Supported formats
Input: PDF. Output: .docx. Optional OCR language setting for Chinese, English, Japanese, and other languages.
How to use
Upload the PDF. Leave OCR enabled for scanned documents, or disable it for text-based PDFs to save time. Choose OCR language if needed, click Convert, and download the .docx.
Limitations & tips
Output will not match the original PDF layout: columns, tables, and images are simplified or omitted. OCR accuracy depends on scan quality and language; handwriting and low-resolution scans often fail. Large PDFs with OCR can take several minutes. Password-protected PDFs are not supported.
