What this tool does
Export the first worksheet of an Excel workbook to a comma-separated values (CSV) file for databases, scripts, or plain-text tools.
Supported formats
Input: .xlsx or .xls. Output: .csv (UTF-8). Only the first sheet is exported.
How to use
Upload the spreadsheet, click Convert, and download the CSV. Open it in Excel, Google Sheets, or any text editor that supports UTF-8.
Limitations & tips
Formulas are exported as calculated values, not formulas. Multiple sheets, charts, and cell formatting are not included. Cells containing commas or line breaks are quoted per CSV rules. Very large sheets may be slow.
